The Little Red Cabin

Last weekend, Adam and I got away to the mountains of NC in West Jefferson. We had rented a cabin appropriately named The Little Red Cabin.

Now, granted, the inside was a titch on the outdated side but we didn't care because we had this stuff to look forward to outside.....A nice big porch with rocking chairs and a picnic table. Here's Adam with his morning routine out on the porch with coffee and Bible in hand. A stream that ran parallel to the cabin with a walking trailMoose would play ALL afternoon running up and down and up and down the creek. It was perfect for him to have such a nice big area for him to play in.The coolest part was a waterfall just past the yard. The only thing I would do different next time is come during a warmer part of the season so we could play on the rocks and the pool below.

That looks very cozy!! I love the stream in the background. It would be fun to be there in warm weather. Love, Mom
