Showered with Chili Peppers

Last week, the four freshman girls that I disciple through the college ministry threw me a surprise baby shower! It was so sweet and thought out complete with with a theme, decorations, dinner, presents and games. The funny part of the theme were some girls went shopping with a pink theme in mind. Another went shopping with a Mexican theme in mind since that's what we were having for dinner. So, we had pink plates, festive sombreros, pink balloons, chili pepper napkins, etc. It was a great combination. I wouldn't have had it any other way. :)

You can tell the party was fun because I look exhausted in this picture. Waiiiittt....this picture was taken right when I got there. :)

The girls were funny buying all these banners that said, "It's a Boy!" Then they'd insert the word "Not" to say "It's NOT a Boy!" like on the Friends episode when Rachel had her baby shower.

They had decorated the windows with drawings of me pregnant and post-pregnancy. This is the pregnant cartoon they drew of me looking large and in charge complete with horizontal stripes. They seemed proud of the stripes too. It also looks like I'm carrying a bit low in the picture.... Thanks a lot girls- preciate it. ;)

My great girls l-r: Kellie, Bethany, Casey and Meghan

glad to see your surprise post! I love how the tag was left on the sombrero as if someone was going to take it back after the shower. :P
