April Showers Bring....

June babies!

This past weekend, Mom Renstrom hosted a baby shower for me in Charlotte. We had a good group of some friends from their church and family. We played some fun games. With the picture below, I'm modeling my pallet of baby food that I so bravely taste-tested all of them (except the peas- I couldn't stoop that low). I was so confident with all of my answers and only got 5 out of 10 right! The food was wonderful. Mom R. made a beautiful cake and had pretty pink decorations on the table. On the menu was chicken salad sandwiches, stuffed cherry tomatoes, asparagus stalks wrapped and baked in filo dough, veggie trays, chocolates, and more....She also hand-made the party favors by writing the scripture verse, "Children are a treasure from the Lord," on a white mug filled with coffee goodies. Since she knows my love for coffee since my barista days, it was thoughtfully filled with home-made biscotti and coffee beans. As if it couldn't get any better, we topped off the party with this pile of gifts. It was so fun to open the presents and such a blessing to be given so much from everyone.

Here, I'm explaining to some how a stroller system works. Thanks Mama Ward, Aunt Sharon and Aunt Sandra for such a great gift! We love it!
