Fishing on the Russian River

On Monday, my dad took Adam, Bern and I fishing at the Russian River in Kenai about 2.5 hours away. I think it was supposed to be just guys, but they let me come as long as I didn't talk, they said. :) We all had a good time, although unsucessful. Those darn salmon have been hiding out, but we plan to catch some before we head back to N.C. that's for sure! The weather was beautiful and pretty hot in the morning. Then, it rained a got really chilly for about a half an hour. Adam was wet anyway, as you can tell, because his boots were just buckets for holding water rather than keeping it out. Me...I was dry as a fluffy bunny under a hair dryer! The only thing we caught were 2 dead fish and a rock. (Yes, I literally reeled in a pretty big rock and I have no idea how it got hooked in the first place!) Posted by Hello
