Every year I'm in charge of the table decorations and place settings. Between cooking and decorating, I'll take the latter any day.
I did a bunch of various sized mason jars filled with pecans, topped with tealights and wrapped with raffia.
On the extra seating table (not a kids table, they were all napping and yes that was strategic on our part) I lined mini little jars with pecans and tealights also.
A giant pickle jar for the middle with a big pillar candle in that one.
This year I said I was thankful for two homes and for Adam who works so hard on one of them.
