Although I loved the look of these particular gloves, I just saw spaghetti stains all over them in a week, so I nixed the white and stuck with the sunny yellow. If anyone is interested in making these for themselves, they were super easy and I did find gloves at the grocery store in pink and purple too. The only thing I would've done different would be to get ribbon that looks the same on both sides. I'm only OCD when it comes to my crafts and I had a quite a time getting the polka dots to face right side up when tying the bows. I only went to one fabric store, but they acted like they had never heard of oilcloth before, which is the fabric that you use, so I just went home and ordered some off of Ebay. This is the result!
I love how they turned out! Now mind you, I'm a dishwasher kind of gal. I load that baby till it is filled to the brim and only hand wash the really tough stuff. Maybe these will inspire me to stop loading that crusty covered glass in the dishwasher for the 3rd time in a row. There are so many statements that these gloves make. Such as:
"What? Who, me? Oh, I'm just washing dishes."
"There's nothing I'd rather be doing in the entire world than washing my dishes."
"If I pull my arm away from my body, it will make me look thinner while washing my dishes."
"I hope everyone notices that I'm handwashing my dishes."

Absolute nerd! I just got mine in the mail and I LOVE them!!!!!:) I can't wait to use them and get Chad to photograph the evidence! Poor Adam taking all of these ridiculous pics.......but I'm glad you put yourself out there for a laugh for all of us.....

ok the gloves are really really cute! but i have to ask... were under the influence of any kind of chemical not approved by the D.E.A. for those pics? because i'm thinking even with super cute gloves, i would not be that thrilled to do dishes by hand or otherwise! LOL!!!
