Easter Weekend

Easter weekend was a busy weekend filled with out of town family and friends including some Leigh Anna brought in from Liberty. It was so fun having so many people in one house and so sweet to see them love on our kids. Here is a little bit (lot bit) of what we did.
Kite flying with D&D at the park. Bennett flew the kite all by herself and did such a good job! I think this is when she started peeing down her leg.

Eden and Danielle

Mama and Papa Ward came up from Alabama. It was so cute on this night, Will couldn't stop staring at her this way.

I dyed Easter eggs with the girls.

Greta with her game face on. She had a special technique of slamming the egg in the bowl and splattering dye all over her belly.

The happiest Easter egg dyer I know, cute little B and Leigh Anna.

The finished products!

Leigh Anna getting in some good Wilbur time

Saturday afternoon, Adam and I had an Easter egg hunt for Greta in the front yard. She loved every minute of it exclaiming, "Oh Boy!" every time she found an egg. It was adorable.

Greta's fan club came out to watch her hunt for eggs. It was such a beautiful day, we took some pictures with the kids

We taught Greta right before this picture to smile for the camera. This was the first and last time she did it and I think she looks so pretty.

She loves giving hugs...

and kisses...

and picking "fowas"

Me and Mr. Blue Eyes

G's new thing is for people to have a seat next to her. She'll pat the ground next to her and say, "Seat? Seat?" so that she'll have some company with whatever she's doing. I thought this was so cute of Adam having a seat next to her in the exact same pose.

Bennett forgot her hat and I thought it looked cute on Greta.

John and Will on Easter Sunday

Kyle and Greta. Or as Greta likes to call him "Syle".

Kyle was so sweet with the kids and on this day blew bubbles outside with Greta while I went out for coffee with the girls. Thanks Kyle!

Sunday afternoon, we had a big Easter egg hunt for the college kids. This was the first time Adam and I participated in the hiding and not the seeking. I guess at the ages of 26 and 27 and 2 kids later, you have to call it quits at some point. :)Papa Ward donated $20.00 for the golden egg prize and Dani was the proud recepient.

Julie lovin' on the kids. Poor thing went home with the same stomach bug that Greta had the week before. Sorry Julie!

Sam was particularly fond of Will and he was happy to oblige.

Ryan and Leigh Anna provided an endless amount of Elmo and airplane rides for Greta.

The girls helped me give the kids baths. Everyone was such a big help! Thanks guys!

We had such a good time hang out with Mama and Papa Ward whom Greta affectionately and interchangeably referred to as "War". She especially enjoyed watching Papa snore during his afternoon naps. :)
