Felt Food

I made felt food last week for Greta. I got the idea from this great little blog that I found out about through this great little blog. Hi Sarah!

Pizza with pepperoni and black olives. Everything's sewn on by a sewing machine. And I didn't make that little plate. I just borrowed it from Greta's tea set.

I made it so the pepperoni's could be removeable by velcro and I made 3 back-ups in case we lose any. :)

Two pancakes, fried egg and bacon. I think you can order this at Waffle house.

Bologna sandwich complete with a slice of cheese and tomato.

My favorite birthday meal request of all time. Fried chicken and mashed potatoes.

I put a little bell in the drumstick which Greta was very amazed with. When she picked it up and heard it jingle, she exclaimed, "Whooooooaaa!"
Since I'm hardly the seamstress, I would barely be able to give a tutorial on how to make this stuff. It was fun to try, but if you want a better example go to the first blog I mentioned. She doesn't have a tutorial either, but her stuff is way cuter than mine. :)

That is the cutest idea I have ever seen! Wish I would have thought of that about 5 years ago, Kenna would have loved it!

You could sell that felt food at bazaars or better yet...E-Bay! Now to find the time to do it would be tricky... I like the idea and have never seen felt food before. Great job even with a jingle bell in the drumstick. Mom
