Weekend in Raleigh

This past weekend we went back to our old stomping grounds, Raleigh. Since our house hasn't sold yet, we call it our "vacation home" :) and used it for a chance to go back and visit some friends. As we walked into our house Friday night, we had such a sense of ownership and pride for all the hard work we put into it. It was nice going back. Greta giggled when she saw her room too. It was so sweet.

Saturday afternoon, the Bugnars had a birthday party for Ben who turned one. Allison brought the balloons. Doesn't she look pretty? She's also pointing to #3 due in August.

When it came time to sing Happy Birthday, Greta just happened to be in the line of vision as everyone was singing to Ben. Her expression kept cracking me up because I think she thought we were singing to her! Sorry Gal.

My two fellas.

11 kids and more on the way between the 6 couples... Emma is the oldest at 4 years and Will is the youngest at 3 months.

What I looked forward to most for the weekend was our went-away, birthday, birthday party at Firebirds. Since we left around the holidays, there wasn't anytime for a going-away party so we decided to celebrate post-going and threw Adam and Nick's birthdays in with the celebrations.

All of the couples came including Pri (far right) and Leigh Anna who just happened to be in town.

After dinner, we walked over to a Starbucks inside Target to celebrate with some coffee and birthday cake.
