Baby Mozart

Greta watched a Baby Einstein video today for the second time in her life. The first time she watched it she was only a few weeks old and just stared at the toy on her swing the whole time. This time, I thought she might enjoy it, and boy was she entranced. Just for fun, I thought I'd show you the new living room rearrangement below. The desk in the corner is one Adam made. It's modeled after the one in Pottery Barn where it's a counter-height tabletop that sits on top of 2 bookshelves. Of course, as you can imagine, Adam's is ten times cooler. Who doesn't want the sweat and blood of a Renstrom seeping into the grains of their computer desk? :)

Please note: Due to the latest Bumbo Recall , please know that no babies were harmed in the making of this picture. Besides getting up to take these pictures, I sat next to her on the coffee table the whole time until she was bored 2 minutes later and we moved on to the next activity. :)

Nat,

I bet Finn would like a baby Einstein video for Christmas! He just seems to enjoy the Today show and the Biggest Loser lately. HAHA- JK. Greta is cute. We have had a ton of BUMBO seats on craigslist lately. People think all of a sudden that their kids are in grave danger now that they have been recalled. Good thing I got the BeBe Pod. HA- Don't forget to ask Bridge about her Bumbo mishap with Levi and the kitchen sink...

it kills me because we could have made all of those Baby Einsteins!! Anyway, of course I love the new living room arrangement...just a thought, you could angle the black chair towards the TV for a little visual interest to the room..

ps, Levi was not harmed in the sink luckily...I learned my lesson and never put him on the counter again!!!

Every once in awhile at home and in the car, Ella watches Baby Praise, which is like baby Einstein. She just loves it! It's very interactive with praise and worship music, kids, etc. Just an idea to try! You can buy them at the Christain Bookstore! And through these movies she is getting ready for True Id! haha! I am also happy that you posted your disclaimer about the bumbo! Everyone has been telling me about it! :)

Love ya,

Lins

Greta looks so cute just sitting there! Yes, we had a scary incident with our Bumbo on our kitchen table too! I guess if I had followed the instructions, which clearly say not to put it up on anything, it wouldn't have been an issue!

Nat you have done so much with the living room. I love how you have arranged things and the rug is great. G looks like a doll sitting on top of your coffee table. :)

Greta looks so interested and I'm sure she is learning. She is so intelligent already!

The bookshelves are fantastic and Adam using the flooring is very resourceful. I love the curtains. Now about the couch...keep checking Craig's list. Love you, Mom PS Only 6 more weeks...

The living room looks great! I change my furniture around about every 2-3 months...makes me feel like its new again! Whenever I feel like I want new stuff...I move it around again! Its to bad that bumbo thing was recalled, I thought it was a great invention...of course they came out AFTER I needed it! =)
