Holidays Fit for a King

Last Saturday, Kristen and I went to this annual event that our women's ministry at church puts on. It's just a fun time to take neat classes to help you prepare in different ways for the holidays. This was our table that Kristen and I hosted. That means we decorated it and provided breakfast for us and 6 other ladies. Recognize the quilt Mom? We used that to make a Alaskany, country, antiquey theme.
We filled mason jars with hazelnut coffee beans and an apple pie scented tea light. They smelled great!
Kristen is quite the seamstress and made these cute napkins with some fabric she found. I made the napkin rings by cutting up toilet paper rolls, spray painting them brown and then gluing coffee beans on them. They smell really good too!
One of the classes we signed up for was card making. This lady was a whiz at making cards. She had the best ideas! This little card actually has a real tea bag in the cup that is glued to the front of the card. Great ideas. Kristen took a picture of the other cards. Don't look TOO closely though....you may find a card like this in the mail from one of us and we want to pull off the idea as an original from our brilliant minds! :)
