Massive Pumpkin breaks record

Okay, so since no one ever believes me that AK is capable of growing such large vegetables, I have proof from the front page of the Anchorage Daily News! Here is a pumpkin that broke the state record topping out at 752 lbs. Crazy huh? This "vegetable weight debate" started last year when the NC state fair announced their breaking records with a "5 pound cantelope!" (j/k ;)) I told Adam that AK could totally beat their records and after a little google search I proved myself right! I think the cantelope I found from last year's AK state fair was about 67 lbs? Don't quote me on that... (Adam thinks I make up most AK facts as it is) :) You can read for yourself about the pumpkin in the Anchorage Daily News.

SORRY ALLISON! Starting next weekend we should have the internet at home and then we can download some more pics after that! Believe me, this pumpkin is really not that cool to me anymore either.
