I took a few "scenic" shots during the day to try to capture a little bit of the beauty of this place.Though our camera does a decent job it really doesn't do Whittier justice. Lookat all of the shots and then imagine being surrounded by that on all sides, and you can't even fathom how huge these mountains were either. What was so amazing was to see the ocean coming right up to these massive mountains. This final picture was taken at the end of the night(around 10:30 or so) as the sun began to setbehind this mountain.
