After we woke up, stoked a fire and made some oatmeal from the propane stove, we decided it was time to jump on bikes and head up the trail. the bike trail goes back 13 miles towards Eklutna Glacier. For a lot of the trip, the trail parallels Eklutna lake which is beautiful on a sunny day. As you can see, our day was a little bit gray, but I must say quite pleasant to ride a bike in. In the pic with the fireweed, you can see the glacier in between the peaks.
