Black Friday

After much research and poring over newspaper ads we finally found a front loading washer and dryer set on sale at Sears for $600.00. Although smaller than what we originally wanted, we figured you couldn't beat the price and decided to wake up at the time the store opened. They only had 4 sets of that type in the store so we had to be there on time. 3:30. In.the.morning.
I've never been at the store when it opened and was surprised to see this crowd there. It was even crazier when we got inside. Apparently, Sears had handed out vouchers for the washer and dryer at 3:00 am that we were there for and sadly, there were none left. We were also interested in the flat panel tv's as they were having major sales in the electronics also. Luckily, we found one that we wanted for a steal! We were excited because our new living room won't accomodate our old school tv and armoire with all of the windows and walkways and so we were happy to find something that will be perfect to attach right to the wall. Adam plans to build a built in tv unit using one of our closets in the hallway.
And yes, I'm wearing a blanket. It was cold! More importantly, I don't regret it. Maybe Adam does, but not me. Even more embarrassing was my dress that I was wearing was from the day before (and I happened to sleep in also). It was 3:30 people! We came back home and crawled back into bed. In my dress again. :)
4 for 4:00 am. Wow, I look awesome.
