4th of July

This year for the 4th, we went to our new little town of Harrisburg's 4th of July parade. It mostly consisted of tractors, fire trucks and about 30 church floats. :) I have great memories of growing up walking in our Chugiak, AK parade where I would walk my dog and he pooped in the middle of the street or I dressed up like a clown and sweated my make-up off. Maybe my kids will be in this parade someday sweating their make-up off too....:)Bubba got his first dum-dum

I brought some flags which Greta loved. She and I would wave them to the floats passing by.
And they saw fire trucks

Greta loves fire trucks and always says, "one more fya tuck".

Sweating it out in the direct sun. The best thing that got passed out to us were popsicles.

My little southern girl with her cowgirl boots and bojangles cup.

This guy kept flying up and down the street and was fun to watch.

Greta looks so much like Alanna in that profile shot! Especially decked out in that Mardi Gras necklace! Looks like fun! And I'm loving following your house blog...so exciting!
