On Friday we went to a great restaurant downtown called Bentley's to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. It was a little pricier than what we're used to, but then again we're used Chick-Fil-A and we didn't have any little ones to cut up chicken nuggets for so it was worth celebrating in style. Plus, the couple next to us got a beautiful dessert brought out to them as their waiter wished them Happy Anniversary. It only took a few minutes till I asked how we could get in on the "anniversary deal" before he brought us out our own complimentary dessert! After dinner, we went and walked through the streets of downtown where Taste of Charlotte was taking place. It's an event where restaurant vendors come out and you can sample their food using tokens that you buy for a small fee. I didn't feel like eating any vienna sausages after my filet mignon, but we did stop and listen to these guys below. Look at the tiny tuba player in green on the left. The tuba is as big as him!
