Chi-Chop

My Dad came through Charlotte on his way to Mississippi for business. He was able to stay with us Friday-Monday and we had the best time! Watching the planes at the overlook before we have to drop him off to fly out.

We spent most of our time out in the garage where Dad was able to make some pens on the new lathe. He was a little directionally challenged (reading directions that is) and the more he would learn the more creative his pens got! They actually turned out very pretty and colorful! Tribal pens, we called them. :)

After he flew out, we were talking to Greta about her G-Pop being up in an airplane. She got a little confused because she did her business walk (one arm swinging, other arm stiff) all the way to the garage looking for her Chi-Chop. So cute and kind of sad!
