Gal Pal Walking

Greta is walking and here is our proof! She actually took her first steps IN ALASKA (my parents are so proud and want everyone to know where she learned it) :) on June 19th, a few days after her 1st birthday. Why the delay in posting? Well, maybe I was just being difficult, but I didn't feel the freedom in saying, "she's walking!" when she really wasn't. She will very much show off in the living room when practicing between Adam and I, but she's still afraid to take off her training wheels (AKA: my finger) and takes us everywhere and anywhere she wants to go. However, I now feel more free in saying she's walking because she is. You just don't catch her doing it most of the time. Crawling was much more her preference, but now she does love to be a big girl and "walk" while holding my finger just as a security blanket. So here's my official conclusion that will be recorded in the baby book:

First steps: June 19th, 2008- 12 months

Walking: 13 months

so so so exciting! Can't wait to see our day-apart-twins chase each other :) by the way, M also stops performing and attacks our camera if she see it- gotta love those big blues staring right into the lense

HIP HIP HOORAY for Greta walking! She is quite the ham too. She definitely scores a ten for walking so many steps. Watch out, because there's no stopping her now...you'll be chasing her everywhere. What fun! I sure do miss her. Love, Mom and Dad

Yay, Greta! And you look so proud of yourself, as you should. That is definitely official walking!

She has definitely become a walker, and we love the close up for the camera.
