In a Bind

Greta is 9.5 months old now and the past couple weeks she has discovered the stairs and has even crawled up 3 steps. She is also in the shreiking phase where she shreiks when she's excited, sad, bored, hungry, whatever. It pierces our eardrums and dogs from every nearby neighborhood come running. :) Greta shrieked the other day and this was why. It took me a minute to check on her because I assumed she was just playing with a toy she was excited about.

She loves to carry around those two tiny toys in one hand. She'll pick up one in her fist and then grasp the other one with the last two fingers she can let loose.
Once I came over to check on her, she realized she could touch bottom and actually started reversing out. Funny girl.

How cute! I think maybe she stopped crying because she saw your camera. She wanted to put her best face on for her blog buddies.

I think the funniest is that she was totally stuck, and you went to grab the camera first... I guess you knew she wasn't going anywhere! Great pics Nat!

Nat- we are due the 27th- but when you announced at MMO about your peanut (i nearly died trying to hold my news in) being due the 19th... my original due date was the 20th! Until we got an ultrasound and the baby measured small- I kept thinking how ironic it was that G is one day older than M, and your baby was due one day before mine! Yikes! Haha.
