Friday night we had our friends, Mark, Katie and baby Brook and Chris and Marie, over for dinner and games. We had a great time exchanging stories of how each couple met (that never gets old), embarrassing stories and some quality time holding sweet Brook.

This is a chicken Adam made for part of the meal. I knew it wouldn't be enough, so we added a roast to the menu too. The chicken has a can of coke inside of it to make it really moist. You can also use beer, but I didn't have time to go to the store so I just went to the vending machine at church (for a coke, not beer) while I was there for a couple of hours on Friday working.

Hi! Welcome to Earth! I'm Greta!

Everyone indulged me in a game of Cranium. Humdinger anyone?

Greta hung out for most of the night.....wait a second, that's not Greta. They do have the same shoes though. Greta was asleep, so I got to hold Brook for a little bit. Greta is about 5 months older than Brook, but they're about the same size so she fit perfectly in my arms.

And Adam taught her all the ways of Alabama football. Hope that's okay Mark and Katie?!

Roll tide! (As far as I know, the Univ. of MN has no beef with Alabama...nor does my small, private division 3 alma mater).
