Back in the Burg

We went to Liberty this past Friday to hear Dan sing in convo. It's always fun to go back and see the familiar sights and friends even if it seems everything has changed!I texted Katie the night before and told her I would be in town. I knew she would have to work so my hopes were not up to be able to see her. Kate goes allllllllll the way back to Bridgette's days at LU. (so long ago ;) ) Anyway, I was sitting in the Starbucks parking lot when this crazy lady comes screaming up to the passengers side window. Just so happened that crazy lady was Katie and we got to see each other after all! It worked out perfectly! I spent the night Thursday night with Jack and slept in Lydia's nursery. I thought for sure Jack would go into labor while I was there and was really hoping her water would break during convo. Ron Paul spoke and told us about his days as an ob doctor so I really thought it would be a great opportunity for him to show off his skills.Greta did SO well and sat and played with her Grammy and Poppy Renstrom during the entire service.Dan did an excellent job and played his song, "Where Could I Go?"
We were able to meet up with Katie and Joey afterwards to let her hold G. I think Gret was ready to wiggle around after so much sitting though....
That's a little better except for the skirt up by her belly button. :)
Saying bye to Lydia until we meet in person next time!

How fun Nat! I am so jealous that you got to see Kate. I love that Greta is wearing a LU shirt!

I didn't know Ron Paul was a former OB!! Weird.

So are you guys the reason there are revolution stickers and posters on every bridge and intersection in Raleigh? ;)

That is so cool for Daniel (and his cheerleading squad) that he got to play at this thing! I saw Ron Paul on Jay Leno and then he's sitting right behind Daniel in your pictures...ooolala...so big time! Maybe he'll be on Jay Leno next. ;)

P.S. I LOVE the snowflake tights!

Nat, It was so fun seeing you; Friday was just a wonderful day and seeing you and Greta had a lot to do with it. Can't wait to see you again,

Nat,

Cute shirt in the bottom pic. Glad to see you left your footless tights at home. Wish I could have been there! Katie and Jackie look great!
