Friday afternoon, we headed into Lynchburg for a shower that Lindsay and I threw for Jackie. Jackie is having a little girl, Lydia, and is due Feb. 20th. We can't wait to meet her! Adam mentioned how cute it will be when they are all college roommates all of their names will sound so cute together. GretA, EllA, LydiA. That is if the other girls can get into Harvard Law where Greta just got accepted. :)

All of the girls before the party began.

This is the beautiful cake that Ruthie, the hostess, had gotten for Jack. It says "Welcome Lydia Grace." Beautiful, isn't it! Jack is such a nerd that she took off the top and is going to freeze it! We thought she might freeze it for the 1st birthday of Lydia's but she laughed and said she's going to eat it after labor!! :) I think she's serious too. :)

Ahhh, the happy couple. :)

This is the diaper cake that I made for Jackie. Some of them you can decorate with toys and washcloths and such, but this is just straight up diapers. Nothing you could need more of!

Linds brought her chocolate waterfall fountain which was a hit!

Ruthie, the hostess. She had a beautiful home which worked perfectly for us to throw the shower there!

We played a mystery bag game where I put baby items in a paper bag and they had to feel and write down their guess of what was inside. The person with the most right wins. I got the idea from Marty's shower and loved it!

One of the best gifts came from Lindsay. No it came from me.....or maybe Jack gave it to herself? The story begins in the dollar store where Jackie and Jay came up with a funny idea to buy stocking stuffers for each other one Christmas. Jay bought this wedding cake topper for Jackie and it has been "re-gifted" ever since. Obviously, we don't like to keep this in our house for long so sometimes we wrap it up for events like this and sometimes we tuck it under a pillow after we leave for a weekend stay at each others house. A few other gifts going around is an ugly necklace Linds and I found in a parking lot when we were at LU and a Christmas toilet seat cover. Unfortunately, the unicorn snowglobe tragically broke a few summers ago. :) Not intentionally, I promise!!

Ella was such a party animal she stayed up for the whole party! Looks like her and her mom took a quick catnap between pics.

Much better!

While the girls were living it up at the baby shower, we came home to this. The boys playing Guitar Hero that Jay so thoughtfully borrowed for the night. No no no...don't get up guys! Me and the 9 month pregnant lady can get the thousand presents out by ourselves. :)

The next morning all the couples met at Cracker Barrell for a breakfast that Joey and Linds treated us to! Thanks again guys! Greta is showing Ella her "Happy New Years" noisemaker (rattle) that I got on sale 4 for a dollar. :)

The whole gang

Ella and Greta saying bye to Lydia.

So much fun! Thanks again guys!
