Our White Christmas

Well, we're here and finally alive and well. After a very long day of flying (up at 3:15 am and finally in bed at 2:30 am Raleigh time). We were very blessed to have a seat next to us from the Seattle to Raleigh 4 hour leg and Greta slept that whole time. Other than that it was a full day of a very awake and active 6 month old on the plane in our arms. We drove home in the motorhome to find my mom sick with the flu. Now, onto the flu part. My mom gave it to Adam and Adam gave it to Greta, unbeknownst to all of course until afterwards. All of Christmas Eve, my poor baby was sick as anything, but she hardly realized it herself. The next day, Christmas, we had a very sleepy girl on our hands. She napped through all the present opening and we had to open hers later. Greta and I missed Christmas Eve at my Grandma Batten's house but was well enough to go to Grandma Kale's the next day. It sounds so sad, but I am thankful for all the family to be around at this time to help. We have been so loved here just spending time with family and friends. We basically play on the floor all morning with the kids, go over to other families homes, have people over to play games and eat way too many sweets. All the girls in the immediate fam went to the spa where I got a facial and the guys are shooting guns tonight at the rifle range. We're having our annual Schnitzelfest tomorrow at Grandma B's and have more plans to follow. Greta is doing much better today and actually needs to be put to bed now. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!
Oh yeah, we had a moose in our yard too! Cool!
