Mr. Moose

Yesterday we said goodbye to our sweet furry friend Moose. As a result of an accident and because of his injuries we had to let him go. Never did we ever think we could be so attached to such an animal, but he truly became a part of our small family. From the time we got Moose back in September he kept us busy with his antics. Between the occasional chewing of sheetrock to the ripping of holes in our furniture, he still was able to make us laugh in our frustrations. We still are finding those friendly reminders around the house today even with him gone. We will certainly miss our friend and playmate and are so sad to have his presence gone from our now quiet home. We write this because you might miss him too and we wanted you to know. He certainly was a stranger to no one and we dread running into those random people that loved him so much and having to answer the question of, "Where's Moose?" We are reminded continually that God is sovereign and we echo Job in saying, "The Lord gives and the Lord takes away. Blessed be the name of the Lord." We know this is not a child or a human being and we praise the Lord for the blessings of our soon to come daughter, but we would appreciate your prayers for us during this hard time.
