It's amazing to think that only 3 years ago, Adam and I were married on this day, June 5th. It might sound bad, but it seems like we've been together so much longer than that (in the best way possible). We praise God all the time for our marriage and how he has blessed us with such compatibility with each other. We truly do consider each other our best friend and are so grateful to go through life together through good times and bad. Thinking back on the past three years, there are a lot of "first events" that we've spent together. Here are some that have sparked my memory.
1. First Fight: Adam and I were dating in college and were heading out to the apple orchards. It was a beautiful fall early evening and I tell Adam in the car with about 20 minutes left to drive that "Oh, by the way the orchard closes in 10 minutes." I didn't think it was a big deal at all because we would still be able to walk around and hike through the pretty hills. Adam, on the other hand was upset because he wouldn't be able to buy apples from the farm owner. I told him if he wanted apples we could've saved a drive and bought them at Walmart.
2. First time crying in front of Adam: See above. And Adam did get his apples by the way from the farm...not Walmart.
3. First Wedding (okay, well that's a given.): Ft. Richardson, AK
4. First Anniversary: Seward, AK
5. First House: Raleigh, NC
6. First Pet Together: The Mooseinator
7. First Baby: Greta Jean. 15 days and counting......

What a cute post! Praise God for His sovereignty in bringing you two together, and that Adam didn't dump you after going to the Orchards. :) We treasure our friendship with you two and are thankful for you both!
