Girls Weekend Oct. 2006

Last weekend, the girls from LU came into Raleigh for a girls weekend. It was filled with talking, shopping and eating. It doesn't get much girlier than that! Here's Jackie modeling the lovely Coke a Cola paraphernalia Lindsay (known for her gag gifts) brought from Atlanta to give us straight from her workplace, Coke itself. Thanks Lins, it doesn't get much better than this. :) It says on the hat, "Proud sponsor of the Olympics." When was that....1996?Okay, so what is a girls weekend without pedicures? My OPI color was called "chick flick cherry" which I thought was very fitting.

The gang at PF ChangsHere's me, Jack and Wendy. I don't know who is more funny looking in this picture. Me, being the only one looking at the camera after I said "Let's take a picture, everybody look!" (No one looking and no one listening.) Then there's Jackie who seems obviously amused with a picture Wendy is Vanna white modeling from her camera.In the hotel where we stayed the nightWe used an ironing board to prop up our "big screen tv" which played the movie Take the Lead. Great movie too, it was almost midnight, we're all in bed and the soundtrack makes you beebop all the way through to the end.The hotel surrounds this courtyard type atrium that was beautiful! We had such nice accomodations here.

Thanks to Dad R. (that's what the sign says) for the hotel points to stay here for the night! It made the weekend all that much better!
