A little recap catch-up from what's been going on this past week. It has been a busy week, but of course that is what the Kale's thrive on! Last Monday, my mom, Bridge, Jess and I went out to Matanuska Glacier. As you can tell, it was a gray day and cold too. It was even raining for most of the time and combined with the "glacier" portion of it all, we were a little chilly. However, this is Jessica's first time to AK and as most of you know, Matanuska is one of our favorite places to take our friends! In this picture, you can see the fireweed off to the left. Folklore says that once the top of the flower blooms, it only takes 6 more weeks till it snows!
