On Wednesday, my mom had some friends from work come over to teach us how to make eggrolls. I have never particularly cared much for eggrolls, but let me tell you...this was not just any eggroll! Beni (left) has started selling her eggrolls to clients 20 eggrolls for $25.00! When we first started rolling the pork mix in the Philo dough, I mentioned to my mom how much like paper the thin dough felt! She agreed and we just kept rolling. When we held them up to gain Beni's approval, She started laughing so hard and saying in her thick Filipino accent, "You a gonna make me pee!" It was hilarious! Apparently, not just one of us, but both the ignorant Americans were wrapping some lovely eggrolls in the wax paper seperators!
